The human-animal bond is undeniable, and at Vision Auto Group’s Vision Cares program, we believe in supporting the well-being of all members of our community, furry friends included. Recently, our hearts went out to a group of animals in need when the local humane society, Lollypop Farm, issued an emergency plea for help.
The Rochester Police Department uncovered a heartbreaking situation – 120 dogs living in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Lollypop Farm, a champion for animal welfare, stepped in to rescue these vulnerable animals, but they urgently needed assistance.
That’s where Vision Cares came in. Learning about the situation, our dedicated community Cares Teams sprang into action. We assembled baskets overflowing with essential pet supplies – food, leashes, toys, and comfy beds.
The outpouring of support from our team was heartwarming. From office staff to our very own President, everyone wanted to be part of the effort. Even Apollo, our adorable East German Shepherd mascot, came along for the delivery, adding a furry touch of compassion.
At Lollypop Farm, we were greeted by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers working tirelessly to care for these rescued dogs. The sight of so many animals in need was a stark reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership and the vital role organizations like Lollypop Farm play in animal welfare.
Delivering the supplies was just the first step. The real heroes in this story are the countless families who will step forward to foster these dogs, providing them with love, care, and a temporary home until they find their forever families.
